Jerry Tolk is a talented multi-instrumentalist who picked up drumming after many years of rock, blues, and jazz guitar. He fronts and manages his own acid-jazz band One Big Woo on lead electric guitar and is also an active acoustic drummer for The Echo Wall, Amber Dutton, Grogan Social Scene, and The Ash Lovelies. With Wytold, Jerry plays an electronic drum kit called the Handsonic which has many different programmable pads with various sensitivity and expressive responses yielding a wide variety of sounds. This flexible setup combined with Jerry's keen musical ear allow Jerry's playing to range from experimenting with electronic melodies to being 'the glue' that smoothly keeps it all together.
